First of all I would like to thank you for visiting my website. My name is Denise Hamilton
I was born and raised in Arizona I showed Youth and Open AQHA and Open Shows (Halter, WP, EP, Trail, Horsesmanship, Showmanship,
Reining, Cutting, Working Cowhorse, Team Roping, Breakaway and Barrels) both on a local and national level qualifier
for the AQHYA World Show in Halter, Trail and WP. I also competed in the AHSRA all 4 years through High School,
qualifier for the NHSRA finals (Barrels, Breakaway and Team Roping) as well as held my WPRA card for 3 years competing
in Barrels, Breakaway, Team Roping and Steer Undecorating. Our family also had running Quarter Horses as a part of our
breeding program.
In the late 70's after I aged out of the Youth Associations, I continued to show and
train for AQHA, APHA, ApHc, AHSA, Pinto, IBHA, PHA shows as working for the NM Racing Commission as an outrider
for 3 years at La Mesa Park in the early 80's. Throughout the years I have also become involved in the Special
Olympics Equine Program, training and coaching the western events for the 2005 Reserve Texas State Champion Team
- Special Friends based out of Houston Texas.
